If you recently switched over to Opera, or perhaps you are a dedicated Opera user, there are many things that you are able to do with Opera. While there are many built in features on Opera, the real power and fun starts when you get into using extensions.

If you are unsure what we mean by extensions, there is an extension store for Opera where you are able to add all types of fun features to the browser using third party tools. You are able to access the store by going to Menu, Extensions, Get Extensions.

There are many extensions to choose from, while there are some useful ones over others, you are sure to find what you need. After using Opera for a while, we have put together a list of the best Opera extensions that can be used daily.

Here we go!

#1 Amazon Assistant for Opera

Amazon Assistant for Opera

If you often shop on Amazon, this will be a great extension. It offers you access to Amazon’s daily deals with a single click, and you are able to search using any open tab.

It gets even better, as it reacts with browsing other online stores too. If you are looking at a product at another store, and Amazon stocks it the extension offers you the current Amazon price. While it’s not always cheaper with Amazon, it’s a great way for quick comparison shopping.

#4 Todoist Sidebar (unofficial)

Todoist Sidebar

We are massive fans of Todoist and find it to be a great extension for Windows 10 users. However, if you spend much of your time in the browser, it may not be all that efficient for managing your time to flip out to the app constantly.

The unofficial extension lets users open the Todoist web app within Opera’s sidebar, allowing quick access to important notes and lists.

If you are often on Twitch watching streams, then you need to try this one. It acts as a mini-Twitch style browser which sits right on the toolbar and allows you to quickly search without needing to be on the website.

We think the best feature it provides is being able to set notifications while viewing badges in relation to channels you follow going live. If you add a dark theme, and various settings available, you can really customize your Twitch experience.

When it comes to bookmarks, they have become rather unwieldy and hefty. There are times when you simply want a short-term way to access several web pages.
